Our story
From one engineer on Upwork to a small senior team
Programmers Venture started in 2019 as one engineer taking contracts on Upwork while holding a senior engineering role in Lahore. The early work was enterprise .NET and Laravel: CRMs, ERPs and, from 2020, a two-year build of an eSignature platform for a US law firm as lead developer.
In April 2022 that became full time. The contracts that followed — rescuing a real-estate SaaS after two previous developers, an 18-month Vue and Laravel product build, identity and SSO integrations — grew into a small team of senior engineers who had worked together before: Laravel, .NET and, increasingly, applied AI.
Today the record is public: 47 contracts, 6,166 hours, a 100% Job Success score and Top Rated status on Upwork. We build for founders and engineering leads in the US and Europe, and we would rather show you the contract history than tell you about it.

First contracts on Upwork
Programmers Venture begins as a one-engineer practice, alongside a senior role at AsianSol leading a 20+ developer team on CRMs, ERPs and digital-signature workflows.
LawHQ eSignature build begins
Lead developer on a DocuSign-class signing platform for a US technology law firm: a WYSIWYG editor from scratch, hash-based signing and a full audit trail.
Enterprise .NET at IBEX Global
Senior engineer scaling production .NET Core systems with Clean Architecture, Angular frontends and SQL Server at millions of records. LawHQ reaches its initial release in December.
Full time on the practice
Employment ends in April. An 18-month Vue and Laravel SaaS build starts; mortgage origination on ASP.NET and a Kotlin silent-update job ship the same year.
The REI Op-Center rescue
Took over a real-estate SaaS after two previous developers and rebuilt it on AWS to handle records in the millions. The co-founder’s endorsement is on the homepage.
Identity work and the first product
Auth0 and enterprise SSO integrations; OpenWriterAI, our own AI writing SaaS, is built and launched.
The shift to applied AI
Datamag’s 30,000-order import pipeline, multi-tenant SaaS backends, and the first RAG and voice pipelines for clients. Top Rated on Upwork.
